Welcome to Alien Spaceball!
---------------------------
Alien Spaceball is a Pinball-like game for one player. It requires an EGA
card or better, and a 286 or better is recommended.
To load, type at the DOS prompt:
BALL {ENTER}
How to Play
-----------
Use the Left and Right SHIFT keys to operate the flippers. The flippers can
be used traditionally to bounce the ball to the upper portions of the screen
or they can be used to cradle the ball.
The ALT key is for the Chute Save. That is, if the ball looks as though it
is going to go out of play at the left or right sides of the screen, hold down
the ALT key and it will be sent back out of the chutes. If the ball drops
below the white cross-line, nothing can save the ball.
When entering the High Score, remember that only the lower-case letters "a"
through "z" are accepted.
Scoring
-------
BUMPERS . . . . . . . . . . . .50 Points
DROP DOWNS. . . . . . . . . . 100 Points *
POINT SLUGS . . . . . . . . . 100 Points
BLUE WARP BOX . . . . . . . . 250 Points
TOP SLOTS . . . . . . . . . . 500 Points *
DROP DOWN RESET . . . . . . .1000 Points
* At the end of each ball, the game counts the number of DROP DOWNS, multiplies
it by the number of times the ball entered the TOP SLOTS, and multiplies that
by 100 Points. The game keeps track of these "Multipliers" in the two boxes
underneath the Score Box.
Other Information

I spent a lot of time working on this game, and drove my wife crazy in the
process. Without support, I won't be likely to do that in the future.
Therefore, PLEASE REGISTER THIS GAME.
I've tried to make the deal a little sweeter by offering to send everyone who
registers two other games. They are: BRIAN'S CASINO and ESCAPE THE RAINFOREST
which are designed to operate on any DOS machine.
CASINO is a package of five casino games with a twist: when you run out of
money, there are ways to get more. . . just don't try to skip town if you owe
any to Louie the Loan Shark!
ESCAPE is a text-adventure game where you must find your way out of the South
American jungle. Deal with natives, rivers, caves and mountains as you attempt
to find a way home.
The registration amount is $12.00 US or $15.00 CAN.
To register Alien Spaceball and receive your two bonus games:
1) Send your name and address along with a cheque or money order for $12.00 to:
Brian Porter
10318 - 149th Street
Surrey, B.C.
Canada V3R 4A2
(Make your cheque or money order out to "Brian Porter").
2) Please state which game you are registering.
3) If you don't want to be on a mailing-list for my new products, indicate this
with your order.
I hope you find this game to be fun, interesting and challenging. As always,
I welcome comments and suggestions. Have fun!
-Brian Porter
